Our Standard 4-Port (2+2) Choke Valve Trim is a precision-engineered valve trim component designed for external sleeve over ported cage choke valves. Widely used in oil and gas production, well testing, and flowback operations, this trim is the industry-standard solution for applications requiring precise flow control under severe erosive and high-pressure-drop conditions.
The trim features a 2+2 port configuration with 2 smaller lower ports for fine control at low openings, and 2 larger upper ports for higher flow capacity delivering an equal percentage flow characteristic for exceptional control across the entire operating range. The smaller lower ports manage approximately the first 15% of the valve's control range, while the larger upper ports handle the remaining 85%.
